The the American navy didn't have good planes in the pacific in WorldWarII. Then the Americans made the F6F Hellcat. The Hellcat had 6 50cals so it could rip through the well armed japaneese zero fighter plane. The Hellcat was then called the Zero killer. The Hellcat was the pacific's best fighter plane.
