"Tommy gun"

The famous thompson submachinegun also known as the "tommy gun" was first used in WorldWarII. The gun had a rapid fire and was issued to many soldiers so it became very famous during the war. The gun became infamous because a lot of gangsters used it. The thompson was the best American machine gun next to the B.A.R and some more guns in WorldWarII.

The zero killer

The the American navy didn't have good planes in the pacific in WorldWarII. Then the Americans made the F6F Hellcat. The Hellcat had 6 50cals so it could rip through the well armed japaneese zero fighter plane. The Hellcat was then called the Zero killer. The Hellcat was the pacific's best fighter plane.

Rifle for a century

Famous rifles such as the Lee Enfield were used over a century. Lee Enfields were used in the Civil war,WorldwarI and WorldwarII. LEs are powerful bolt action rifles that most of the british soldiers used in WorldwarI and WorldwarII. Sometimes the enemy were killed with one shot!

B-2 stealth bombers are used to bomb targets in the Iraq war.But this bomber costs millions of dollars and the targets can be hit by cruise missiles at a much lower cost.
